Ms. Sarah Jane R. Dela Cruz, Administrative Staff, was recognized as the NIGS Outstanding Procurement Champion among the 84 awardees from the Institutes of the College of Science. The award ceremony was held on 21 July 2023 at the Institute of Biology Auditorium. This award was a result of Ms. Dela Cruz’s participation in the training program titled, “When Procurement and Science Collide: Unleashing Innovation and Efficiency” held from 22-26 May 2023 at the Institute of Biology Auditorium. The training covered a diverse range of topics including proactive planning for procurement, creating purchase requests and technical specifications, dashboard navigation, public bidding procedures and requirements, compliance and best practices; and delivery, inspection, termination, and amendment processes.
