Dr. Mario Aurelio is among the recipients of the UP Scientific Productivity System (SPS) Award for the period 2022–2024. The SPS Award is given to faculty and researchers of the university who have demonstrated outstanding research productivity. Dr. Aurelio will be conferred the title 'UP Scientist 1' and will be receiving the award on 29 September 2023 at the Dioscoro L. Umali Hall in UP, Los Baños.
